Showgirl Press is a one-girl studio. Hey! My name is Lauren, and I print limited editions of linocuts, woodcuts, collagraphs, and monoprints. My work addresses the aesthetics of flamboyance, glamour, and attitude to express the “camp” sensibilities in popular culture. These concepts are explored through the selection of subject matter that underscores the campiness in popular culture and everyday life. Reoccurring themes in my work include camp, color, excess, flamboyance, and mock-glamour.

I have been producing art professionally for over twelve years. I have my associate of applied science degree in advertising & graphic design and a master’s in fine art with an emphasis in printmaking. After years of freelance and commissions, I started my business, Showgirl Press, in 2020.
